CHARLIE BROWN COSTUME INFORMATION

As in prior years, we will be providing some of the costume pieces. These items will be brought to a rehearsal to be fitted to the actors. Please note that all characters may not be listed here.

Please try to locate these items as soon as possible, and bring them to rehearsal by Monday, July 18, so that we may look at them.

EVERYONE will need a pair of black shoes. These are commonly flat ballet-style slippers, or any all-black flat shoe with a soft sole. No flip flops, please.

Please do not feel you must buy anything special, unless your child will get more use out of it after the play is over. Secondhand or thrift shops are gold mines for costume items, or try borrowing from friends! All costume pieces should be free of logos or other designs. If you have trouble locating any of these items, please let one of us know as soon as possible so that we will have time to help locate them for you. Charlie Brown, Linus, Schroeder, Pig Pen, Marcie: Black shorts, black shoes. You will also need a pair of colored socks:
Charlie Brown – yellow
Linus – red
Schroeder – green
Marcie – orange
Pig Pen – light blue

Peppermint Patty: Black shorts, sandals (no socks). You do not need black shoes.

Lucy: Black shoes, white or light blue shorts (we will be sewing ruffles across the back, so be sure that will be ok!), dark or light blue socks

Sally: Black shoes, white or light pink shorts (we will be sewing ruffles across the back, so be sure that will be ok!), hot pink socks

Woodstock and Bird friends (Harriet, Freda, Raylynn): Black shoes, khaki shorts, yellow socks

Faron: Black shoes, black socks, long black pants or sweats

All of the additional children in the show: Black shoes and plain, brightly colored socks. The girls will need brightly colored shorts or leggings. The boys will need black shorts.
